Cranford Park Family Day 25th July

Cranford Park Family Day, Stable Courtyard, Cranford Park – Saturday 25th July

A celebration of Cranford’s history and a day of fun for the family.  Besides Wild In The Country Ltd ferret racing there will be Falconry Displays, a Medieval camp with knights, sword fighting, Animal Farm, Tea Garden, the Grey Lady, Secret Garden, storytelling and clay play for kids

The Macmillan Secret Garden is the heart of what happens on Saturday.  The garden is for patients recovering from cancer and the money raised at the Cranford Park Family Day, will be used to support the continuation of this facility.  Since starting this project three years ago, the friends of Cranford Park have also been re-established and as a group are pursuing a lottery grant to renovate the stable block, make a cafe area and renovate the old cellars to local artisan workshops, so its all go!!!

A lot of the patients will be there, and we know they’re going to enjoy watching Wild In The Country Ltd ferret racing and meeting our compere Malachy de Lacy.  It’s hard to say which Ferret is likely to be a winner at this event, though Sexy Beast has been doing well this year, it will be interesting to see which Ferret will be racing for the finishing line this weekend.

Wild In The Country Ltd look forward to seeing you at this very worthy event, with so much going on it’s a guaranteed fun day for the family and admission is free…. and look for the green and white tent to meet the ferrets!
